The Christian Community in North Leeward is preparing to hold a special service for healing and comfort this Sunday, for the persons who were affected by the recent Trough System that ravaged the community.
One of the Facilitators for the North Leeward Disaster Recovery Committee, Dr. Jerrol Thompson said the Service will be held as the Churches in the Community saw the need for healing.
He said a meeting was held in the community for the churches and it was agreed that this thanksgiving service will be held.
Dr. Thompson said the service will be held at the Chateaubelair Playing Field this Sunday commencing at 5:00pm.
He is also encouraging persons to attend the special event.
