Additional relief supplies are scheduled to arrive at the E.T. Joshua Airport this afternoon for persons affected by the December floods.

The supplies will be transported by an American aircraft and are expected to arrive at about one-thirty this afternoon.

This follows the arrival yesterday at the Kingstown Port of 20 tons of humanitarian supplies aboard the Dumont D’urville, a vessel of the Armed Forces of the French West Indies.

Director of the National Emergency Management Organisation, NEMO, Howie Prince was among those on hand to receive the supplies, which were earmarked for NEMO and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society.

Mr. Prince explained how the supplies would be distributed.
