Director of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), Howie Prince said the national recovery effort is progressing reasonably well.
Mr. Prince gave this assessment, during remarks at a ceremony held at the Kingstown Port on Friday, following the arrival of humanitarian supplies aboard the Dumont D’urville.
He said NEMO ell be applying the lessons learnt from the experience of the December floods to upgrade its Disaster Response Systems in the future.
