The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is moving forward with plans to re-locate persons whose homes were destroyed by the severe weather which impacted the country in December last year.
Word of this came from Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, as he spoke with the media in Buccament on Friday.

The Prime Minister led a team of officials to the Buccament area on Friday afternoon to start the process of distributing refrigerators, stoves and mattresses to persons who lost their possessions during the December floods.

Speaking with the media during the event, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the process of identifying lands has already begun.
