Refrigerators, Stoves and Mattresses were distributed by the Government yesterday, to over 60 residents from the Buccament community who lost their possessions during the severe weather in December last year.
The distribution followed a commitment given by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves to help the affected persons to get back on their feet.

A team of officials, led by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, travelled to the Buccament area yesterday afternoon, to start the process, which is expected to continue in the coming weeks.

The items were purchased from Finishing and Furnishing and Singer with funds provided by Chairman of the Digicel Group, Dennis O’Brien Speaking with the media during the event, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves emphasized the significance of the donation.
