The Insurance Brokers Limited has become the first Cover Holder in this country for internationally renowned Insurance Company, Lloyd’s Insurance, which is based in the United Kingdom.
Lloyd’s Insurance is a conglomerate of Insurance Companies worldwide that offer Services to people and regulate these services to customers through its Under Writers and Cover Holders.
Speaking at a News Conference yesterday, CEO of the Insurance Brokers Limited, Joe Sheridan said as a Cover Holder, their company is authorized to enter into contracts of Insurance documentation on behalf of one or more Lloyd’s Syndicates.
Mr. Sheridan said now that Lloyd has entered the market here, confidence in the local Insurance Market, will be raised.
Mr. Sheridan said there has been a lot of talk about Construction standards and relevant insurance since the Christmas Eve Natural Disaster and this new development will address all these issues.
