Clement J. Noel’s Funeral Service

Former Clerk of the House of Assembly Clement Jeremiah Noel will be laid to rest tomorrow at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church yard, following a service at 3:30pm.

Mr. Noel, born in Union Island came through the ranks of Teaching, starting at the Grade one Level in 1948 and ending his teaching Career as a Graduate Teacher in September of 1975.

During those years he taught at the Calliaqua Anglican, Richmond Hill and Kingstown Government Schools at the Secondary level at the Girls High School and St. Vincent Grammar School.

Mr. Noel served as Clerk of the House of Assembly from 1975 until his retirement in 1990.

As a nation builder, Mr. Noel stood out as a devoted member of the Lions Club South where he gave much of his time and energy in numerous Fund Raising Projects. He was also a member of the Solomon’s Cloister Lodge, Stoney Ground.

As a mark of respect Mr. Noel will be given an Official Funeral tomorrow.

His body will lie at the House of Assembly from 10am to noon, then to the Lodge at Stoney Ground and finally at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church at Calliaqua.
