Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the process of distributing stoves, refrigerators and mattresses to victims of the December 24th floods, is progressing smoothly throughout the country.

Speaking at a news conference yesterday, Dr. Gonsalves said the majority of affected areas have already been covered and assessors are in the process of assisting those who were missed in the initial phase.

The Prime Minister also noted that resources are being made available for the provision of additional assistance to affected families.

Dr. Gonsalves said the government is undertaking a 22 million dollar project for the rebuilding of homes that were damaged.
