The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has granted a 100-thousand US dollar loan to the owners of the fast ferry – MV Jaden Sun.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said at a Media Conference on Monday that the funds will be used to replace a damaged engine, which had caused services to be suspended until further notice.

The Prime Minister also announced concessions on fuel for all passenger ferries operating within St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Prime Minister said the Government has also agreed to purchase one thousand dollars worth of tickets from the Fast Ferry.
