Focal Point for Chronic Non Communicable Diseases (CNCDs) in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Dr. Rosmond Adams said they are continuing to receive strong public participation in the fights against these diseases.
He tells NBC News that this is one of the main reasons why their programs to address CNCDs have been successful thus far.
Dr. Adams said they have been holding a wide range of public sensitization programs, through which they are appealing to persons to live healthier lifestyles.
Dr. Adams said so far members of the public have been very supporting of these programs.
