Staff at the Comptroller of Inland Revenue Department will attend a Church Service at the Kingstown Methodist Church today to signal the start of Tax Awareness Month.
Other activities during the month include in house training of tax payers; a workshop on PAYE; and VAT an Open Day and Exhibition.
Comptroller of Inland Revenue Kelvin Pompey says the activities are geared at sensitizing tax payers on matters relating to taxation
He says the Inland Revenue Department is working to address the issue of delinquency particularly in the construction sector.
