Information Communications and Technology ICT was high on the agenda at the 25th Inter-Sessional Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government Summit, which wrapped up here last night.
Speaking to Media Officials last night, CARICOM Chairman, and Prime Minister, The Hon Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said they had a very successful two-day summit, which dealt with a number of matters regarding the further development of the 15-member Regional Integration Grouping.
He said the Regional Leaders agreed that there should be a sustained effort over the next two years for building a single ICT space in the region.
The Prime Minister said agreement was also made in the area of Human Resource Development
