The Housing and Land Development Corporation said more than one hundred Vincentians are currently employed in the reconstruction efforts following the disaster in December of 2013.
General Manager of the Housing and Land Development Corporation (HLDC), Elvis Charles tells NBC News that
Mr. Charles said the housing program, is ongoing in Fitzhughes, Cumberland, Vermont and Fancy.
He said works on some of the houses are almost complete.
Mr. Charles said more than one hundred houses to be constructed under this program.
He added that they expect all of the construction projects to be completed within the next year.
