Reigning Miss SVG, Shara George says she has experienced a rather quiet reign since copping the coveted title during Vincy Mas 2013.

She made this statement during Saturday’s Meet the Media event, for the 2014 Miss SVG Contestants which took place at Young Island.

Miss George said her duty is now to assist this year’s contests in their preparations and she is appealing to them to be professional at all times.

She also called on them to be confident in their abilities and give of their best on the evening of the pageant.
Miss George is also calling on Vincentians to show more love to each other as the nation has seen the incidence of a number of serious crimes over the past weeks.
This year the prestigious pageant will be held at the Victoria Park on Saturday May 31st under the theme “A Combination of Passion and Brilliance”.

Eight contestants will vie for the coveted title of Miss SVG 2014 they are Felisia Baptiste – Miss Imperial Optical; Selis Blair – Miss Metrocint General Insurance Company; Shackell Bobb – Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse; Karla Gellizeau – Miss Mustique Company Limited; Vanika Hope – Miss Super-6; Shadeisha George – Miss Lime; Tatiana Lespierre – Miss Bequia Beach Hotel and Jamilla Neverson – Miss Lotto.
