The Carnival Corporation, CDC says registration forms are now available for Ragga Soca and Soca Artistes who wish to participate in this year’s competition.
A release from the CDC says registration for both competitions closes on Friday 14th June, and preliminary judging for the Ragga Soca competition would be done on Saturday 14th June.
Preliminary judging for the Soca Monarch competition would be done on Monday 16th June at a venue to be announced. The competitions would be held on Saturday 5th July at the Victoria Park.
The CDC says all registration forms must be accompanied by a copy of the Song on a CD, which should be ready for airplay.
Artistes are also reminded that the registration fee of $30.00 must be paid to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Calypsonians Association.
