The Ministry of Education is moving forward with the thrust to advance the Child Friendly Schools Initiative, with a three-day workshop, which opens here today.
The workshop is being conducted in conjunction with UNICEF, and is targeting selected Teachers of Health and Family Life Education.
A release from the Ministry says the sessions are intended to define and teach life skills-based Health and Family Life Education, and to help the participants to develop an appreciation for the relevance of the subject in Child Friendly Schools.
The workshop is taking place at Frenches House.
