The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is appealing to everyone to conserve and protect that nation’s Biodiversity.
Project Coordinator for Bi-Diversity in the Ministry of Health, Tashika Haynes said Bio- Diversity speaks about the variety of plant and animal life in the world.
She said the nation’s Bio- Diversity is one of the major income generators while sustaining livelihoods and she is encouraging Vincentians to protect it.
Miss Haynes said while the Caribbean has a rich Bio- Diversity, it is also very vulnerable and persons must protect it by any means.
