The Country Meets Town J’ouvert Band is this year supporting the efforts of the SVG Cancer Society with its presentation for 2014 dubbed Hot Pink.
One of the Founders of the Band, Carlos James made this announcement earlier this week during a press conference which was held to reveal sponsorship for the band by Coreas Hazells Incorporated, under the brand Stag Beer.
Mr. James said they will be selling a number of Pink Gloves at two dollars each and he is appealing to Vincentians to support the work of the SVG Cancer Society by purchasing these gloves.
He said all funds raised from the sales of these gloves will be handed over to the SVG Cancer Society as they partner under the theme “Think Hot Pink, Show you care and be aware because early detection saves lives”.
