Senior Public Servants will be involved in a workshop on Trafficking in Persons from today.
The Ministry of National Security in collaboration with the United States Office of Migration will host the two day workshop at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference Room
The workshop will target thirty Senior Public Officers from the Ministry of National Mobilization; the Women Affairs Department, the Labour Department and the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force inclusive of personnel from The Trafficking in Persons Unit.
The meeting will be conducted by Regional Coordinator Chissey Mueller and other Officials from the International Organization for Migration IOM.
Ms. Chissey Mueller who is based at the IOM’s office in Trinidad and the Hon. Camillo Gonsalves, Minister of Foreign Affairs are expected to address participants at the workshop.
The Workshop took place at nine this morning.
