Defending champion Attackers (1) were knocked out at the quarter-final stage of the Dover’s Electrical Services, East Kingstown Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the weekend at the Grammar School Playing Field.

Attackers (1) were beaten by Jus Fuh De Fun by 4 wickets. The scores: Attackers (1) 71 off 18.3-overs; Dean Farrell 18; Marcus Hacksaw 4 for 15, Jevorn Nero 3 for 4, Just Fuh De Fun 75 for 6 off 17.3-overs; Okeiph Andrews 29 not out; Benson Hacksaw 2 for 3, Kentish Phillips 2 for 11.

Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines All Stars secured an eight wicket win over AL-CO-HO-LIX. AL-CO-HO-LIX 78 off 13.5-overs; Kuthbert Springer 28; Ricardo Thomas 4 for 21, Brenton Arrindell 3 for 10, Dennis Grant 2 for 9, Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines All Stars 81 for 2 off 16.5-overs; Nyron De- Souza 31; Kenneth Lewis 2 for 12.

General Hardware Supplies Richmond Hill United defeated CK Greaves Stars by 2 wickets. SCORES: CK Greaves Stars 116 for 4 off 20-overs. O-ZICO Williams 39 not out, Kesron O’Brien 23, General Hardware Supplies Richmond Hill United 117 for 8 off 16-overs; Rohan Ash 44; O-ZICO Williams 2 for 21, Jevorn Williams 2 for 29.

And, Buccament Bay had a 5-wicket win over Dr. Thomas Injectors. Dr. Thomas Injectors 98 off 19.3-overs; Rawl Stapleton 3 for 22, Kelroy Warren 2 for 11 and Romello Browne 2 for 21, Buccament Bay 99 for 5 off 17.3-overs; Rawl Stapleton 38 not out.

Kuthburt Springer of Alcoholix lead most runs with 105 runs, while Jevorn Williams of CK Greaves Stars is the leading wicket taker with 17 wickets.

Fixture for upcoming weekend, in semi-final action on Sunday 20th July from 12:30 pm, General Hardware Richmond Hill United and Buccament Bay and in the other semi-final match from 3 pm Bank of SVG All Stars and Just for the fun will compete.
