Delegates from some fourteen countries in the region are attending the 25th meeting of Heads of Social Security in CARICOM, which opens here today.
The two-day meeting is being held at the NIS Conference Facility, under the theme: Empowerment and Access for all Workers Through Social Security
The meeting was preceded by a two-day workshop focusing on the Caricom Reciprocal Agreement on Social Security.
The forum is being hosted by the National Insurance Services of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Executive Director of the NIS, Reginald Thomas says recommendations from the two-day workshop will be discussed at the meeting over the next two days.
