The New Non- Resident Ambassador of Chile to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency Fernando Schmidt formally presented his letter of credence to Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne today.
According to a release, the presentation of credentials is part of an official two day visit by Ambassador Schmidt to this country.
Additionally the ambassador will make courtesy calls on other state and government officials that include Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves,
Speaker of the House of Assembly Hendrick Alexander, Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace, Minister of Foreign Affairs Camillo Gonsalves and Minister of Tourism Sports and Culture Cecil Mckie.
In addition to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mr. Schmidt serves as Non-Resident Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and members states of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
The ambassador will be resident in Trinidad and Tobago.
