A National Workshop on the Sweet Potato Value Chain will be held here this week.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will host the workshop in collaboration with Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI).
The session will address issues such as the purpose and objectives of the CARDI/CTA Root and Tuber Value Chain Project; the importance of value chains in agriculture; and Stakeholders’ visions of a competitive Sweet Potato Industry.
The forum will be held tomorrow Tuesday September 16th, at the Fisheries Conference Room, Kingstown and begins at 8:30am.
