OECS Launches Risk Assessment Workshop

Two important events, involving stakeholders from across the region are being held here this week, as efforts continue to reduce the region’s vulnerability to natural disasters.

The OECS Regional Engineering Workshop and the Caribbean Handbook on Risk Information Management Workshop opened yesterday morning with a joint ceremony at the NIS Training room.

Both groups, comprising engineers, town planners, geospatial experts and technocrats, are meeting to discuss risk assessment and risk reduction.
