Carnival Bands Association Celebrates 50 Years Of Competition

Chairman of the Carnival Bands Association (CBA), Hugh Raguette says the CBA will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Queen of the Bands competition next year

He made this announcement during the Prize-Giving and Awards Ceremony for Vincy Mas 2014 hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation, CDC, last week.

Mr. Raguette said this year they saw presentations of a very high quality from all components of Vincy mas.

Mr. Raguette also said local Mas Bands can look forward to something special as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Queen of the Bands competition next year.
