Persons involved in electrical installation were involved in a one-day Workshop yesterday.
The workshop was hosted by the St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited in collaboration with the Electrical Inspectorate Division.
It was aimed at addressing Electrical Engineering Standards in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Speaking at the opening ceremony Communications Officer at VINLEC Tamara Job-Sprott said the workshop was held as part of a programme aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of local Electricians and Wiremen.
Meanwhile the Chief Executive Officer at VINLEC Thornley Myers has stressed the importance of implementing proper Electrical Engineering Standards in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
