Taiwanese Scholarship Presentation To Be Held Tomorrow

The Ministry of Education will host a ceremony next week for the presentation of scholarships to several Individuals from the Republic of China on Taiwan next week.

The ceremony will be held at the Memorial Hall next Tuesday for the official presentation of the scholarships.

Presentations will be made to Primary and Secondary School Principals, as well as to Post Secondary Students.

The ceremony will feature addresses from Taiwanese Ambassador Baushuan Ger; Education Minister Girlyn Miguel; and Chief Education Officer Lou-Anne Gilchrist.

There will also be cultural performances from the Brighton Methodist School; the Lowmans Leeward Anglican School; the C.W Prescod Primary and St. Martins Secondary School.

The presentation ceremony begins at 1:30pm on Tuesday.
