Government has spent in excess of two million dollars US to purchase three new Fire Trucks at the Argyle International Airport.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made this disclosure at an Inspection Ceremony at the Campden Park Container Port this morning
The Prime Minister said the trucks were purchased for use at the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Station at the Airport.
Meanwhile … Chief Executive Officer of the International Airport Development Company Dr. Rudy Matthias says steady progress is being made at the Argyle Airport site.
He said they are working towards to substantial completion of the project by the end of this year.
