The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment hosted a Workshop this week aimed at equipping staff at the Public Health Department to deal with Vector Control.
The workshop was held on Wednesday in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization.
In his address at the opening ceremony, Senior Health Officer, Todd Lewis said rodent control has been a major challenge for the Environmental Health Department over the years.
He however said that the Ministry is however taking a proactive approach to control the spread of rodents in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
