The Division of Teacher Education of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College is collaborating with the Ministry of Education, to host its inaugural professional development conference dubbed: In-Class Literacy Instruction for Adolescent Learners.
A release from the College says the Conference, which opened last evening at the Villa Campus, is being held as part of the ongoing thrust by the College, to foster strong professional development for teachers of adolescent learners.
Today’s session will involve Teachers of English at the Secondary and Post-Secondary level, while Friday’s session will target teachers of other subject disciplines.
The Division of Teacher Education is of the Community College is this year celebrating 50 years of the delivery of Teacher Education in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
