Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has said that St. Vincent and the Grenadines has the potential to be one of the first countries worldwide to have electricity provided completely by green energy.

The Prime Minister expressed the view as he delivered the Feature address at the launch of CARICOM Energy Week.

Other addresses came from Director of the Energy Unit, Ellsworth Dacon; Representative of the Clinton Global Initiative Libby DeLucia; Chairman of the VINLEC Board of Directors Rene Baptiste, CEO of VINLEC, Thornley Myers and Programme Manager for Energy at the CARICOM Secretariat Dr. Devon Gardner.
