Dr. Ralph Gonsalves To Deliver Feature Address At Clare Valley Clinic Handing Over Ceremony

The Basic Needs Trust Fund will officially hand over the keys to the renovated Clare Valley Clinic to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, at a ceremony to take place in Clare Valley tomorrow

The new Clinic provides service to the residents of Clare Valley, Chauncey, Rillan Hill and Questelles, a combined population of about 2,535.

The services include medical clinics, emergencies and dressings, maternal and child health, family planning, chronic disease clinics and HIV counselling services.

The efficient delivery of these services was being severely hampered by the poor existing physical conditions at the clinic

The clinic was renovated at a cost of 174-thousand US dollars. The fun ding was provided by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Caribbean Development Bank.

The renovation was designed and supervised by Gleans Engineering and the construction work undertaken by Cyril Jack Construction.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will deliver the feature address at tomorrow’s official hand-over ceremony.

The ceremony will also be addressed by Minster of Health Clayton Burgin.
It begins at 2pm and will be broadcast live on NBC Radio
