Several questions on a wide range of topics were dealt with last night on the first edition of the Radio Program dubbed “Ask The Prime Minister”

The Prime Minister fielded questions on Healthcare; the Corruption Perception Index; Petro Caribe debt; and Housing during the two-hour program.

One of the issues addressed was the increase in the number of amputations, which is attributed to Diabetes.

The Prime Minister said while there are several programs put on by the Ministry of Health to deal with this issue, there needs to be more educational programs.
The Prime Minister also said he will be seeking assistance from Cuba to access treatment for diabetic foot ulcers.
