Significant progress has been made by the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries in rehabilitating the agricultural sector, in the wake of the devastating floods of 2013.
Word of this came from Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar, during a News Conference last week.
Responding to a question from the media, Minister Caesar noted that a lot of work has been done, especially in the area of Forestry
Minister Caesar said the Ministry has also been compensating Livestock Farmers for animals lost during the December 2013 floods.
