The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prison Service is observing Prison Week under the theme “Showcasing the Diversity of the Prison Community”
The activities began yesterday with Church Services at Her Majesty’s Prison in Kingstown and at the Belle Isle Correctional Facility.
Acting Superintendent of St. Vincent Prison Service, Brenton Charles says several other activities have been planned for the week.
Superintendent Charles says the activities are being held to highlight the programs that are currently in place for inmates.
