Patrons attending the 11th Annual We Can Concert this weekend are being promised an entertaining and enlightening evening of gospel music by a wide range of local artists.
The concert, organized by the SVG Mission of Seventh Day Adventists, is set to take place this Sunday December 21st at Heritage Square, from 6 pm, under the theme: Immanuel – Mighty to Save.
Chairman of the We Can Concert Committee, Anthony Patterson, said the concert will showcase the diverse array of talent which exists in the various churches throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Mr. Patterson said a number of local drama groups and poets will also be featured at Sunday’s concert.
The initiative is intended to encourage persons to donate canned foods, toiletries and personal items to assist less fortunate persons in the communities.
