Police Inspector Hawkins Nanton is among twenty-four Police Officers, who recently completed a Basic Polygraph Training program in Barbados.
The ten week course was held at the Regional Training Centre in Barbados with funding from the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Bridgetown Barbados.
At the Closing Cremony, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police in Barbados, Oral Williams commended the officers for their participation and dedication to the training
He said there is now a cadre of trained persons who will assist in weeding out some of the undesirables who seek entry in the police force.
The Training Program was attended by Police Officers from St. Vincent and the Grenadines; Antigua and Barbuda; Dominica; Grenada; St. Kitts and Nevis and host country Barbados.
