Organizers of the 11th Annual We Can Concert, scheduled for this weekend, say a number of local charitable organizations will benefit from the proceeds of the event.
The concert, organized by the SVG Mission of Seventh Day Adventists, is set to take place this Sunday December 21st at Heritage Square, from 6 pm, under the theme: Immanuel – Mighty to Save.
Chairman of the We Can Concert Committee, Anthony Patterson, said the main objective of the concert is to assist those persons who are less fortunate.
Mr. Patterson said the concert is intended to be a celebration of the birth of Christ, with entertainment for the entire family.
The concert is intended to encourage persons to donate canned foods, toiletries and personal items to assist less fortunate persons in the communities.
