Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is appealing to members of the Business community to work together while taking advantage of the benefits which will come to the country as a result of the Argyle International Airport.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves spoke on this issue, during remarks at a Cocktail hosted by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with Telecomms Provider LIME, at the Cruise Ship Terminal.
The Prime Minister also appealed to hoteliers to increase their number of available rooms while pointing out that the Government will offer them a number of concessions to grow their businesses in this regard.
He said a number of business people have already started taking advantage of these opportunities.
The Prime Minister said the country has a lot of available lands for the development of hotels and he is appealing to local business operators to band together to develop these lands before the operationalization of the Argyle International Airport.
