The National Emergency Management Organization, NEMO, is continuing to receive assistance from Groups and Organizations for the ongoing National Rehabilitation Effort, following the floods of December 2013.
Next week, a cheque will be handed over to NEMO to assist with the re-building process.
The funds are being donated by a group that was established in the Cayman Islands following the December 2013 flash floods. The group has held several fundraising efforts to assist with the recovery effort.
The cheque will be handed over to NEMO by Belinda Francis on Tuesday January 6th at NEMO’s Office.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9am.
