The Ministry of Education will hold a special Church Service this week to officially usher in the New Year.
A release from the Ministry says the Service will be held under the theme: Reflecting On The Past, Seeking God’s Grace For The Future.
The Ministry says it is intended to give God thanks for His grace thus far and to seek His guidance and direction in future educational pursuits.
Senior Education Officer with responsibility for Primary Schools Elizabeth Walker says the Service will take place at the Kingstown Methodist Church from nine-thirty on Thursday morning.
Mrs. Walker says Senior Educators from across the country are expected to attend the event, along with personnel from the Ministry of Education.
Special prayers will be offered for all educational institutions, for all persons in administration and all stakeholders in Education. The sermon will be delivered by Reverend Adolph Davis.
