Calypsonian and Teacher Residing in the Community of Fancy Maxwell “Tajoe” Francis has made an urgent appeal for residents of his community to work together as they go through the current trying times.

He made this statement following yesterday’s tragic accident in Fancy when passengers in a mini-bus went over an embankment and ended up into the sea at Rock Gutter.

Police Officials say five bodies have so far been recovered and fourteen persons remain in hospital – ten at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and four at the Georgetown Hospital.

Mr. Francis said yesterday’s accident was the worst on record for residents of fancy and he appealed to members of his community to be strong at this time.

Mr. Francis is also encouraging members of his community to comfort those who have lost loved ones and not to point any fingers in blame.
