The final scores: the Adelaide Strikers 182 for 6 off 20-overs; Craig Simmons 46, Captain, South African Johan Botha 41 not out, wicket-keeper Tim Ludeman 31, Ryan ten Doeschate 26.
The Sydney Sixers 159 off 19.4-overs; Jordan Silk 67, Nic Maddinson 18; Johan Botha 2 for 27, Kane Richardson 2 for 54.
