A new Cemetery was consecrated at Fancy yesterday, as the nation prepares to bury the five students who died in the accident at Rock Gutter last week.

Officiating at the consecration ceremony, Bishop Melford Pompey declared the new Cemetery ready for burials.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Representative for North Windward, Montgomery Daniel said residents of Fancy had been requesting a new Cemetery for several years. He said, after a number of setbacks with the owners of the land, the new Cemetery has now been made available.
