Thousands of persons turned out at the Fancy Hard Court on Sunday, to pay their last respects to the five students whose bodies were recovered from the sea, following the vehicle accident on Monday January 12th.

The five who were buried yesterday were: Anique Alexander; Racquel Ashton; Jamal and Jamalie Edwards; and Glenroy Michael. Tributes were also given for Simonique Ballantyne and Chanstacia Stay who are still missing at sea.

The ceremony heard tributes from several persons, including Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace, Minister of Education Girlyn Miguel and Parliamentary representative for the area Montgomery Daniel.

In his tribute, Prime Minister Gonsalves expressed confidence that the nation would survive this period of testing.
