The Forestry Department in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is reminding Hunters that the 2014 Hunting Season for Mammals and Reptiles is now closed.
Director of Forestry, Fitzgerald Providence, said they are satisfied with the conduct of local hunters during the hunting season which ran from October 1st 2013 to January 31st 2014.
Mr. Providence said while they had a number of reports of misconduct by hunters, the majority of them abided by the hunting guidelines which were established by the Forestry Department.
