A Panel Discussion And Public Consultation On the LIME/FLOW Merger Will Be Held Here Later This Month

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Commerce and Information Technology will host the Consultation which will bring together key local and regional stakeholders, to look at the implications for the consumer.

This event, the first of its kind in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), is organized in collaboration with the National Telecommunications Committee (NTRC) and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The main objective is to highlight the potential advantages and disadvantages of the LIME/FLOW merger in the local and regional contexts.

It will also sensitize and educate the public on the particulars of the merger and to garner the public’s views on the merger and the possible implications to the consumers.

Panelists will include representatives from LIME/FLOW, Digicel, NTRC, Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL), the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Business Community and the National Consumer Association.

The panel discussion and public consultation, is scheduled to take place at the Methodist Church Hall on February 23rd beginning at 4:30 pm.
