The Forestry Department in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries says the 2014 to 2015 Hunting season for Birds, is now officially closed.
Director of Forestry, Fitzgerald Providence said the Hunting Season for Mammals and Reptiles closed on January 31st, while the Hunting Season for Birds climaxed on February 28th.
He said it is now illegal to hunt these animals and he is also appealing to persons to discard of any meat they have in their possession because they can be charged for this.
