National Heroes Days Plans In Fancy

This year the National Heroes Day Festival on March 14th in Fancy will focus on celebrating the lives of the children who died in the Rock Gutter accident on January 12th.

Co-ordinator of the Festival, Maxwell “Tajoe” Francis said residents in Fancy are currently finalizing preparations for the highly anticipated Annual National Heroes Day event.

Mr. Francis said once again the Cultural program feature cultural performances and specially prepared indigenous dishes as the community celebrates the life of this country’s first National Hero, Paramount Chief Joseph Chatoyer.
