Glaucoma Week will be observed here this week to raise public awareness about the disease, which is the leading cause of irreversible blindness here.
And, as part of the public awareness drive, staff at Optipharm Eye Centre will host a two-day activity today and tomorrow under the Singer Gallery in Kingstown.
Consultant Ophthalmologist Dr. Benet Henry will be available to provide information about glaucoma.
The session will be held from 9am to 3pm.
Glaucoma week will be observed under the theme Beat Invisible Glaucoma.
